2009 Qualified Tax Collectors Without Credits for 2010

The list of 2010 Qualified Tax Collectors is posted on our website at www.newpa.com. Due to the lack of available courses offered through the DCED, GCLGS training partnership program from July – December 2009, we have extended the time you have to get your credits.  Qualified Tax Collectors who did not take the 6 credits hours in 2009 to maintain their status for 2010 may do so until March 31, 2010. If you use this time extension, you are still responsible for getting six additional credits needed in 2010 to keep your status for 2011 before December 31, 2010.

Fax or email your request for credits along with the course name, location, instructor, hours, and any other pertinent information by close of business Wednesday, March 31, 2010 to (717) 783-1402 or maclay@state.pa.us. Please indicate you are seeking credits for 2010.

If you have already satisfied the qualification requirements, you do not need to take any further action.
