Grant Closeout Requirements

If the amount of the Contract is less than $100,000, the grant contract will require that an acceptable Grant Closeout Report be filed 30 days after the grant funds are spent, but no later than 30 days after the contract expires. Refer to the links below for the appropriate Closeout Report.

If the amount of the Contract is $100,000 or more, a final audit of the entire contract (Project Audit) is required within earlier of 120 days after completion of project activities or 120 days after the contract termination date.  The Commonwealth reserves the right for state agencies or their authorized representative to perform additional audits of a financial or performance nature if deemed necessary.
